Actually, I have consistently worked in favor of aiding local food systems. My organization concrete aids community gardens and runs six different CSAs in low-income neighborhoods. That being said, I stand by my point that seasonaal, volunteer-run food projects are no substitute for year-long, systemtaic efforts to cortreate lving wage job and esnure an adequate safety net.
