Looking forward to this series - you have some good reads here. Sutterfield is great - kudos on including his thoughts.

Looking forward to reading your reviews! If you've never read Robert Farrar Capon's "The Supper of the Lamb," let me recommend it to you. Originally published in the 1960s, it is a reflection on food and a call to really see, enjoy, and appreciate food - to steward the experiences of cooking and eating, really. The whole thing is built around a remarkable (and environmentally responsible) recipe called "Leg of Lamb for Eight People Four Times." Both fun and thought-provoking.

Craig, Bob and Bronwyn recommended "The Supper of the Lamb" to us too. Bob gave it to me to read a while back and I never got to it, but I'm sure you can borrow it from him again if you're interested. Thanks Marti!
