Excellent article. It drives me crazy when the debate about ag and food systems becomes so polarized. Michael Pollan is not an anti-farmer radical, he is simply saying that we need to take a closer look at what we're feeding ourselves and that we should try as much as possible to eat more real food and less processed food. In other words, Pollan is suggesting that we talk to farmers to hear their stories about how food is grown, and support farmers by buying their produce and meat. There is a win-win here. We're all on the same side.

A great place for consumers and farmers to connect is on http://www.FarmOn.com
