This fascinating map is making the rounds
on the internets today. It's a map from 1996 showing world coke
consumption. You can see Coke's latest plans for world domination here. I
wonder what would be possible if the resources that go into selling the
world a coke were unleashed in the direction of developing sustainable
food systems. That would really "give the world a hug."
