Thank you Craig for sorting out the details and clearing up the facts....you are such a valuable and cherished part of the market system and we are all so lucky to have you on our side. The situation is disturbing given the fact that markets serve the community and churches do not make a profit. If everyone was playing with the common sense that God gave them this situation wouldn't exist!!

I support taxation as a way to provide public services, but this type of "money grab" is objectionable, and only hurts the smallest communities. I hope that there are area businesses that will step up to provide space to the area markets (like the owner of the vacant half of the former Excel grocery on Perry.)
